Using a Launcher

To simplify the installation process and manage different modded instances, it's highly recommended to use alternative launchers such as CurseForge or Modrinth. These options are completely safe to download and free of any kind of viruses.

1. Launch CurseForge.
2. Click on the Browse tab.
3. Search for Crate Delight.
4. Click on the Install button to add it to your instance.

Manual Installation

This mod can be downloaded exclusively from CurseForge and Modrinth. It's available for the Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge mod loaders:

• Crate Delight (Forge/NeoForge):
  • Download on CurseForge
  • Download on Modrinth
• Crate Delight (Fabric):
  • Download on CurseForge
  • Download on Modrinth

Once you're in any of those mod platforms, follow these steps:

1. Choose the right mod version for your Minecraft instance.
2. Download the latest version of Crate Delight by pressing the Download button.
3. Place the downloaded .jar file into your Minecraft /mods/ folder.
4. Launch Minecraft.

Where is my Minecraft Folder?

• Windows: Your /mods/ folder is located in /AppData/Roaming/.minecraft/mods/ on Windows. You can access it by pressing Win + R and typing %appdata%.
• macOS: Your /mods/ folder is located in /Users/yourusername/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods/. You can access it by opening Finder, holding the Option key, and selecting Go -> Library.

Important Warning

Other websites share mod files on their own servers without getting any permission from the original creators. This is risky because the files could be modified and include harmful code that might damage your computer. CurseForge and Modrinth are the only official places to download Crate Delight. These sites check all files for viruses and malware, making them safe to use.

If you downloaded Crate Delight from any other website that is not CurseForge or Modrinth follow these steps immediately:

1. Turn off your internet connection.
2. Delete the malicious file.
3. Scan your computer for viruses.
4. Change your account passwords.
